How to Edit Elementor Pages​

Most pages on site.locomotiondesign.com are built using Elementor combined with Case Addons.

  1. Go to Pages and click Edit with Elementor on the page you want to modify.
  2. Text: Click directly on any text paragraph or heading to type and edit.
  3. Images: Click an image. In the left panel, click "Choose Image" to upload a new one.
  4. Publishing: Click the green Update button at the bottom left to save changes to the live site.

Best Practices for Images​

  • Compress Images: Before uploading, compress images (using sites like TinyPNG or squoosh.app) to ensure the website stays fast.
  • Consistent Sizes: When replacing gallery or portfolio images, try to use the exact same dimensions as the original image to prevent layout shifts.

How to Edit the Navigation Menu​

  1. Go to Appearance → Menus.
  2. Drag and drop items to reorder them.
  3. To add a new page, check it on the left panel and click Add to Menu.
  4. Click Save Menu.

Safety & Undo​

  • If you make a mistake in Elementor, click the History icon (bottom left) and select a previous state to undo your changes instantly.
