Website Backups

Backup Strategy​

  • The site uses an automated backup plugin (e.g., UpdraftPlus).
  • Backups are stored safely on an off-site location (like Google Drive or AWS).

Restore Notes​

  • To restore the site, navigate to the backup plugin's interface.
  • Select the backup date and click "Restore".
  • Only restore if a critical error occurs or content is accidentally wiped.
  • Daily for databases if the site has frequent updates (WooCommerce, Portfolios).
  • Weekly for full site backups (Files + Database).
